The Electronic Design engineer senior is responsible for driving and developing cutting edge, high performance analog mixed signal building blocks. He is required to make trade-offs in architecture choices independently and develop them in advanced technology nodes. In addition, he is required to guide the layout work of the blocks.
•Specify and design analog circuits for high frequency applications ranging from 1 to100Gbps, in CMOS and/or bipolar technologies.
•Mentors and provides guidance to junior design engineers.
•Measures high frequency circuits, dealing with distributed effects, packagebehavior, boards.
•Takes ownership of complex parts of a project
•Requires in-depth knowledge and experience.
•Solves complex problems; takes a new multiple using existing solutions.
•Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
•Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies on tasks of difficult scope.
•Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
•Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
•Knowledge of circuits and functions related to the transmission and reception of awired or optical link (equalizers, CDR/PLL, TIA, …)
•Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
•Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
•Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
•Knowledge of integrated circuit design tools: Cadence, electromagnetic simulator, ADS.
•Good interpersonal, explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
•Good planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise
•Works well in a global team environment

•Minimum 3 years’ experience in analog design.
•Master degree in Electrical Engineering / BAC+5
•Proficiency in French and English
